Advocates' Guide to Adoption of Small Area Fair Market Rents
Short guide to local advocacy and implementation of SAFMR in jurisdictions not required, but allowed to use them. SAFRMR is the HUD demonstration program that narrows the geographic boundaries for setting housing assistance levels to more closely match local rent levels, often increasing assistance and opening up previously unavailable areas to voucher holders.
